Poq’s commitment to provide our community with engaging UX features and flexible tools to manage native apps, is further delivered in our latest release, Vega.

Furthermore, building on our existing catalogue of feedless SDK’s for Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Shopify, poq has made available Adobe Magento 2 and BigCommerce SDKs also. This makes poq the most accessible native app platform on the market, for anyone using these mainstream ecommerce platforms.

Videos in App Stories

In addition to images and gifs, retailers and brands can now display videos in App Stories that will autoplay full screen with full shopping functionality. This app first, rich and engaging content is displayed in familiar, social media-like presentation, optimised for single handed interactions. Its primary difference from the social media display is that it’s native-shoppable in multiple, configurable ways (single product, multi product, category).

We have added more flexibility into the Image Carousel for the Home Screen. Now Retailers and Brands can use these valuable content slots to promote special product lines, as each image in the carousel can be deeplinked to the appropriate category within the app.

Store Stock Availability

Native app is the most convenient way for your customer to engage with your brand. However, it doesn’t mean they want all their interactions to be digital. One of the simplest ways to drive customers into store is to provide app users with the ability to check the stock of an item in their nearby store. This results in the app becoming a physical store companion, as users can then utilise existing barcode scanner and loyalty card features that many of our clients use. Built to pull data from the ecommerce systems, poq’s Store Stock Availability Checker gives the end-user the option to check the product’s stock in-store directly from the PDP.

BigCommerce and Adobe Magento2 SDKs

These feedless SDKs ensure real time updates from both the poq platform and ecommerce system, keeping the ecommerce platform as the single source of truth for products, pricing and orders. The SDKs provide greater speed to launch and interoperability of poq apps between ecosystems as they are API based, negating the need for error prone feeds.

App Manager Improvements

Building on the launch of the new poq CMS, the poq App Manager web tool has also had the revamp treatment. This includes a new purpose-built user interface, tailored to the task at hand; a modern web app approach built in React; and, an end to page reloads interrupting a task.
