You may remember Keungzai founder Michelle Lee from our previous post about the rise and rise of Mums on Mobile. She previously worked at ASOS, and left to set up her own company after spotting a gap in the market for stylish maternity wear available online.
She approached Poq after seeing mobile become increasingly important to the Keungzai business. Their traffic from phones and tablets has grown from 25% last year to an average of 40% this year, and it’s still increasing. As Michelle said:
“From my own personal experience, I know how essential smartphones and tablets have become both as a new business owner but also quite imperatively as a mum-on-the-go. iPhones become your go-to resource for all things pregnancy, newborns, babies, toddlers…That’s just one of the reasons why I decided to sell online – the ease and ever-improving speed of buying online is clearly appealing to the masses and even more so for mums and mums-to-be.”
The Keungzai app

Like all our mcommerce solutions, it’s based on our unique software platform, so it will always stay up to date with the latest technology and newest mobile innovations. It showcases their full range, making the most of Keungzai’s stunning high-res images, which customers can zoom into to see all the details of the products.
The app includes a full mobile checkout which takes Paypal and credit cards, as well as individual pages for each product.
There’s also a news section so the brand can highlight updates on new products, blog posts, and special offers. Keungzai can also use the app to send out push notifications to their customers, a whole new marketing channel for the company.
